HI my name is Buddy (after Buddy the ELF). It's a great name for me because I am sweetly good natured, have some big feet and a big appetite, I love puppy treats, and I like to play! I am about 9 weeks old and 7 solid pounds of puppy.
I was rescued about three weeks ago, and at first I was pretty skinny and malnourished, but now my soft fluffy black fur is coming in beautifully and I am growing like a weed! I have also learned to trust my foster family, their teenage kids, and their dog and cat. When I meet new people it only takes me a minute (treats help) to say hello and I have mastered the art of looking cute for treats.
I am crate trained and am really close to being potty trained. I sleep through the night (8-9 hours) in my crate. I am also pretty awesome at walking on a leash for my age. I love going outside to play and I am super into exploring the yard (mulch is delicious!).
I am good with the senior dog, not too jumpy but mostly want to be near him and follow him. I like the cat, but I am not jumpy at all with him. I love playing and cuddling, and I am very attached to my sister Snowflake, so when I go to my forever home I might need a few extra snuggles and lovees to make me feel safe.
I am going to be an awesome companion to my new family, and I can't wait to meet them!
