My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bolo has been in the shelter for 2 years due to a cruelty case. Spending that long in a shelter is hard on a dog and we are concerned that the long term stay has impacted his ability to adjust to new environments. He has recently been cleared for adoption and we are hopeful that he can finally find a home of his own.
Bolo is a laid-back guy who truly excels at doing nothing at all. His idea of a perfect day is simple: lounging, chewing on his favorite toys, and soaking up attention from people.

What Bolo is working through:

-Not suitable for a home with other animals
-Will need time to adjust after long-term shelter living
-Benefits from routine and a calm, predictable environment

What we love about him:

-He is the king of relaxation and downtime
-Loves tennis balls and happily plays fetch in his room
-Obsessed with rubber toys and will chew contentedly for hours
-Enjoys butt scratches and all the affection that comes with them
-Famous for his boot scoots and hilarious zoomies when he’s feeling happy
-Gentle, goofy, and a constant source of laughter for staff

Bolo’s ideal home:
Bolo is looking for a calm, pet-free home where he can decompress and enjoy life at his own pace. A predictable routine, plenty of comfy places to nap, and access to his favorite toys will help him settle in. After everything he’s been through, Bolo deserves a home where he can finally just be a dog and enjoy the simple things.
