My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miss Dottie!
Dottie is a 10-week-old mastiff mix weighing in at 12 pounds 8 ounces (as of 11/17/25). She’s a sweet, spunky puppy who loves everyone she meets! Dottie is great with dogs, cats, and kids, and she’s already sleeping through the night like a champ.

She’s currently working on her potty training and doing well for her age. Dottie is in her teething era, so she’ll need plenty of chew toys, treats, and fun activities to keep her busy.

If you’re looking for a lovable, happy little girl who will grow into a wonderful companion, Dottie is your girl.

More about this rescue

At Halfway There Rescue, we are a volunteer-run organization dedicated to making a difference for animals in North and South Carolina. Our mission focuses on reducing overcrowding in local open intake shelters while promoting the importance of spaying and neutering through community partnerships. We work tirelessly to provide compassionate care, foster opportunities, and life-saving interventions for pets in need. By engaging with the community, we aim to create a future where every animal has a safe, loving home. Together, we can reduce the burden on shelters and ensure a brighter future for all.
