Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tres Leches!
Tres Leches is as sweet as the dessert she is named after. She loves meeting new people and she believes there's no limit to the number of best friends a dog is allowed. Tres is playful and can often be seen sprinting about the yard with her short stubby legs, chasing toys and playing never ending games of fetch. Through she hasn't had much experience with other dogs, she has met several while at PARL and tends to be friendly, playful, and tolerant.
Tres does have chronic allergies that can cause rashes and itchy skin. Due to this, it is important that she remains on her special hypoallergenic diet, supportive medication, and regular as-needed vet care. Tres Leches tends to have flare ups in more rural environments, so we believe she would do best in a home based in the city. Tres Leches hasn't been spayed yet, she is scheduled for her spay surgery in a couple of weeks. Until then, she is able to go to a foster to adopt home. Tres's foster should be prepared to remain in contact with PARL's clinic team during the few weeks before her spay.
Tres Leches is in our special medical adoption program where we provide fosters and adopters additional counseling to set them and their new pet up for success. If you are interested in her, please complete an adopter’s profile at parl.org and email cshamgochian@parl.org to set up a meet and greet.

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
