My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gretel – The Brave Little Orphan with a Heart Full of Love 🐶💕

Once upon the same time, a tiny orphan named Gretel waited beside her brother Hansel, wondering what the world had in store for them. Just a few weeks old and without a mom, they landed at the shelter far too young to be on their own. Thankfully, the wonderful staff gave them all the care and comfort they could—but little orphans need more than safety. They need family.

Enter The Misfit Ranch. We scooped up Gretel and her brother and placed them in a loving foster home, where they’ve been learning what it means to be cherished.

Gretel is a stunning little shepherd mix with intelligent eyes and sleek grace to match. Her face is beautifully expressive, and her gentle, snuggly personality will melt you on sight. She’s estimated to grow to about 50 pounds: just the right size for couch cuddles and backyard zoomies.

She’s affectionate, well-socialized, and plays wonderfully with other dogs. She does great with cats and adores kids. Whether she’s flopping into your lap for snuggles or trotting after her brother with big puppy energy, Gretel is always up for love and adventure.

As a young pup, she’ll thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day to guide her through training, help her learn the rules, and remind her every day that she’s safe and wanted. She’s eager to please, full of charm, and ready to give her whole heart to the people who show her she’s home.

From orphan to beloved companion—that’s the story Gretel is ready to write. All she needs is you to help her begin the next chapter.
