My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rhoda is a quiet, independent companion; a senior girl (~10 years old) who was once a house cat. Sadly, she was found as a stray, abandoned outside. Rhoda has traveled down some rough roads in her life and now she's ready to experience a calm, loving, and peaceful forever home.
Rhoda's a cutie and her looks are as unique as her personality- her coat is soft and a beautiful ginger color; she has extra toes, a curly ear, and no tail. Rhoda likes to spend time sitting on her foster mom's lap or nearby while she's reading or watching TV. She likes to be petted and when she’s done, she will let you know. Give her a private space to retreat to when she needs solitude, a cozy, inviting environment when she's feeling sociable, and she will settle right in. Rhoda loves to watch the birds outside the window and she still has lots of playful energy. She likes interactive play with wire toys and feather toys, and she thinks it's fun to run through tunnels.
This resilient kitty deserves all the love she missed out on in her former life. Rhoda would do best in a quiet home without small children or other pets. She's looking for a patient, cat-savvy person (or family) who she can learn to trust fully. If you're interested in meeting Rhoda, complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.
