Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elmo was surrendered with 9 of his family members after their owner got overwhelmed with the number of animals that they had. Unfortunately they had a few accidental litters. They were keeping the hamsters in bins and trash bins to keep them from fighting. Before he was surrendered to us, Elmo did escape and got into a tussle with one of his siblings. His wounds were minor and are healing.

Elmo is pretty social with people and does not mind being handled.
