My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Cassian was brought in by his previous owner on December 5, 2025.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Cassian (#841271) and Ambrose (#841270) - the dynamic duo of brotherly mischief, double-decker purrs, and synchronized snack-time enthusiasm! These handsome boys have never spent a day apart, so they come as a charming two-for-one package deal: twice the whiskers, twice the cuddles, zero regrets. Friendly and social, they've previously lived with a cat-savvy dog and a third feline friend (Jedi #874777), so they're well-versed in the art of polite household diplomacy. Once they've had a little time to settle in (they insist on a proper adjustment period to survey their new kingdom), they'll reward you with their signature tag-team affection and gentle personalities. If you've been dreaming of a matched set of feline brothers who come pre-loaded with good vibes and great manners, Cassian and Ambrose are ready to make your home their next cozy adventure. Don't forget to bring a couple of cat carriers for a safe ride home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
