Konos is looking for a loving home!
Things the team knows about me: I'm a stunning example of the Belgian Malinois breed. I am a highly intelligent, athletic, and incredibly loyal dog with a heart as big as his energy. I thrive when I have a job to do alongside my person. This guy adores human interaction! He's a social butterfly who greets everyone with enthusiasm and is always eager to please, making him a joyful addition to any social outing. With endless stamina and a love for life, Kono's is looking for an owner who shares his active lifestyle. He'd be an excellent partner for running, agility, scent work, or long hikes – anything that keeps his brilliant mind and strong body engaged. He is extremely smart and food/toy motivated, which makes training a rewarding experience. We're currently channeling his excitement on walks into positive leash manners, and he's making steady progress with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. I’m not fully potty-trained yet, but I’m almost there. I am also being crate trained and I am doing very well. I get along great with other dogs here at the shelter, but I would still like to meet any of your furry friends before going home with you!

Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase them here. We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend!
