Hi, I’m Lechee an adorable Corgi mix! While I’m having a great time at my foster home, what I really want is my forever home, so, what do you think, bring me home for the holidays?
They say I'm about a year or so old; my foster mom says that checks out. I’m pretty chill but sometimes I get a little puppy-like excitement, jumping and squeaking and nibbling oh so gently on fingers. Don’t worry, just re-direct me with a toy and I settle down! I’m a stray from Kentucky, but trust me, I’m adapting to the snowy, cold weather. Don’t let these little legs fool you, I am built for speed, I love zoomies in the yard, even if my undercarriage collects snowballs!
I’m as cute as can be, and my foster mom says I’m very well-behaved. I have not had any potty accidents and I go to the door when I gotta go go go!
I do great in my crate, but of course I prefer to be snuggled with a human. When it’s time to let me out of the crate, I will sing you a song of excitement and shower you with wiggles!
Lechee loves to explore, meet new people, and enjoys belly rubs. While she has not been around other dogs or children during her time here, records from Kentucky indicate she gets along well with both. Her short legs love to run, so she’d thrive in a fenced yard or, at the very least, on a secure tie-out. She enjoys playing independently with her toys and is the house supervisor for all tasks!
If you’re interested in adopting Leechee, please apply at www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.
