He’s a charming, playful 6-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. Max is very playful and loves to explore the great outdoors. And he’s just the kind of lovable companion that you want by your side, day in and day out.
Max plays well with other dogs and takes cues appropriately when he’s being a little too eager. He knows sit and is a polite gentleman around the house. He’s currently residing in a home with a variety of pups of all sizes and gets along well with them. He’s respectful of the smaller dogs in the home and would likely be fine with cats (but has not been specifically cat-tested).

Our team will work on your application. Once approved, the foster parent will contact you for a meet and greet.

If everyone agrees that the adoption is a good fit, you will sign our contract, pay their adoption fee and the dog can go home!

Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.

As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.
Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
