Wouldn’t it be nice if every day felt like a bright, sunny day, even when it’s cloudy out?
Perhaps you need a couple of sunbeam locators around the house, who are little rays of sunshine themselves! Some gentle, happy warmth that will make the whole place feel lighter and better.
Nellie and Gidget are just the ladies for you! They are so easy to get along with, and they’ll help you find the sunny spots of your house – and your life. Nellie is about 8 years old and weighs 10-12 lbs. Gidget is 13 and weighs 14 pounds. They are a bonded pair who bring their own comforts with them when they’re together. Nellie is also blind.
These little gals are mellow and content. They get along well with people and with other dogs. Both of them are good on the leash, so you can go for some nice strolls together and let them get their sniffs. They like soft, stuffie toys to play with when they’re feeling frisky.
Mostly, though, Nellie and Gidget prefer to enhance your décor – they add that extra little something to the corner of the couch or the nook of the chair while they snooze away the day. They’ll make their dog bed look like some sort of paradise, the way they curl into it. Soaking up the sunbeams coming in the windows is an art and a science, as they’ll show you.
Both ladies are house trained and crate trained. Nellie will take a bit to learn the lay of the land, since she can’t see her way around, but once she does, she’ll settle in comfortably. They are spayed and vaccinated, plus current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. Their adoption fee is $100. Let the sunshine in! Apply to adopt them today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org.

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.
What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.
Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.
