Hello Northeast. I am a sweet little female Pug/Chihuahua mix, pretty as a flower, so now I’m named Flower. I am 1 year old, 16 lbs, and was living in Von Ormy, Texas, but I was always outdoors wandering the neighborhood alone. Neighbors knew I was being abused, so one day they rescued me, and when nobody cared or inquired about me, they placed me in a foster home. These days I am doing great! Happy, healthy, now vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready for a much better life with people who care about me!
My foster mom says I am the sweetest little girl, and without the typical pug high energy level. I am a bit shy at first meetings, but I warm up quickly and am friendly and sweet to everyone, including strangers, kids, dogs, and cats. I enjoy playtime and doggie toys, and I’ll run zoomies with some of my little dog friends. When I’m feeling extra happy or being offered a dog treat, I will dance around you, making little snorting noises. I’m adorable! I love kisses and snuggles, and even if I’m in the middle of playtime and I see you sit down, I’ll be right beside you. I’m housebroken, well-behaved, only bark to alert you, and I don't guard my food or toys. I’m lovely. I know my future looks bright, so inquire about me today!
FYI… When I arrived at my foster home, I met a very handsome Shih Tzu named Wonton (he is listed for adoption on Petfinder). We have become the best of friends and are always together. If you are looking for 2 wonderful rescue dogs, we make a very sweet and well-behaved duo!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
