My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ashby, a handsome tabby-and-white gentleman with a heart as soft as his fur. This sweet boy starts out a little shy, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into a gentle companion who loves nothing more than a cozy spot to lounge. Ashby gets along wonderfully with other cats and would be happiest in a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace. If you’re looking for a peaceful buddy to share quiet afternoons and warm evenings, Ashby is your guy. Apply at ghhs.org

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
