My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sunbeam and Flare - a perfectly paired little galaxy of love

Sunbeam and Flare are a beautiful sibling duo whose names say it all. One brings the soft, cozy glow of a warm window in the afternoon, and the other adds a gentle spark of brightness to any room. Together they make a home feel lighter, warmer and just a little more magical.

These two recently returned to the shelter and may be a bit shy as they settle back in, but give them a little time and patience and you’ll see their true colors shine through. Sunbeam starts to stretch into view with quiet curiosity, and Flare adds tiny bursts of sweetness when the world feels safe. They comfort each other, follow each other and navigate new places best when side by side.

If you’re looking for a pair that brings both calm and sparkle, this sibling set is the perfect match. Offer them a peaceful space, a few gentle moments and maybe a sunny spot by a window, and they’ll reward you with soft purrs, glowing affection and the warm joy that only a bonded pair can bring.

Come meet Sunbeam and Flare - your heart might just light up.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
