My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 8/28/25
Meet Mossimo, the Feather-Loving Snugglebug
Mossimo may be small, but she brings a big burst of joy wherever she goes. Playful, curious, and full of kitten confidence, she can turn any room into her personal adventure zone. If it has feathers, consider it claimed—her feather toys don’t stand a chance against her adorable pounce-and-proud victory routine.

But after all the excitement, Mossimo’s favorite place to be is curled up in the arms of her favorite human. She’s a champion cuddler who melts into warm hugs and gentle pets, purring like it’s her full-time job.

Sweet, spirited, and wonderfully affectionate, Mossimo is the perfect mix of playtime energy and soft, cozy love. For anyone looking for a kitten who will keep them laughing and keep their lap warm, Mossimo is ready to flutter her way straight into your heart.

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs

Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.

Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.
