My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Donkey, and I’m an 11-month-old orange kitty with a big heart and a sweet personality. I’m curious, playful, and love being around people who give me attention and affection. Whether it’s a gentle pet, a cozy lap, or a sunny spot to relax in, I’m happiest when I’m close to someone who cares.

I’m a friendly little guy who enjoys exploring, playing with toys, and discovering new favorite napping spots. I love being part of the action and sharing my love with anyone who will return it with a scratch behind the ears or a soft cuddle.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and adorable companion to brighten your days, I think we’d be a perfect match. I can’t wait to meet my forever family and start making happy memories together! Adopt me today!

More about this shelter

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
