Meet Fish!!
This gorgeous girl came in as a stray on 12/4/25, and we think she’s about a year old. Fish may not actually swim, but she does flop, bounce, zoom, and wiggle her way right into your heart. She’s sweet, friendly, and has the energy of someone who drank a triple-shot puppy latte.
Her absolute passion in life? Tennis balls. Hand her one and she becomes a one-dog comedy show. She’ll toss it, chase it, pounce on it, and entertain herself (and you!) for hours. Honestly, she could probably host her own sitcom.
Fish is available for adoption, so hurry in to meet this little goofball before someone else reels her in!

All adoptions are $199.00. Adoptions include the following: Vaccines, microchip, Current dog license, spay/neuter, de-worming medication.

Our office is open Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30 and Saturdays from 10:00-2:00. Our kennels are closed on Mondays. The kennels are open Tuesday- Friday 11:00-4:15, Saturdays we open 10:00-1:45.

Did you know... The Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Adoption Center is self-funded and does not receive any tax paying dollars. Our revenue comes from dog license fees, adoptions, impound fees, and YOUR donations. You can send Donations by check or money order to the shelter: 810 N. Home Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
The shelter always accepts cash donations. However, there are always other things we need too. You can call it a wish list: Bleach, laundry detergent, Capstar flea tablets, Advantage flea drops, pet shampoo,Paper Towels, and sturdy collars and leashes for our dogs here at the facility and those going on transport to rescue.
