My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟 Meet Baby Girl — your floppy-eared adventure buddy and full-time snuggle muffin!

If you’ve ever dreamed of having a dog who is down for every adventure and then melts into your lap afterward, Baby Girl is absolutely your girl. Her foster family takes her everywhere—beach days, lakeside fishing, casual hikes, random weekend exploring—and she thinks each outing is the BEST DAY EVER. She splashes in the water like she’s training for a doggy triathlon, investigates fish like she personally discovered them, and trots down trails with her adorable floppy ears bouncing in the wind. She’s just joyful in every new place and loves being part of the action.

But don’t worry—this girl balances fun with affection like a pro. As soon as you’re back home, she transforms straight into a soft, gentle puddle of love who curls up right in your lap. She truly wants to be wherever her people are, whether that’s an outdoor adventure or a cozy night in.

Go watch her video to see just how perfect Baby Girl is!

Baby Girl is a rescue mystery mix—maybe pittie, maybe shepherd, maybe lab—but whatever she is, she’s built from 100% love. She has the sweetest expressive face, a smile that could light up a room, and she immediately wins over everyone she meets with her happy wiggles and back-roll belly-rub requests.

She’s wonderfully social with other dogs, especially the friendly, happy-go-lucky types who love to run around and play. In her foster home, she lives with a senior pug, and she’s been so sweet and respectful with him. When she plays with new dog friends, she’s silly, vocal, bouncy, and always willing to share affection from her humans.

She LOVES happy, social dogs. Medium-energy pups who like to run, play bow, wrestle a bit, and then settle on the couch? That’s her ideal friend group.
She can get a bit overwhelmed by high-chaos, high-speed dogs, but she handles it gracefully, gives a little “hey, chill out” message, and then walks away.
No cats for this girl—she thinks they’re suspicious little creatures and takes their zoomies way too seriously.

With people, she is pure sunshine. Baby Girl melts into anyone who shows her affection and happily flips onto her back like “hello, I love you so much, please rub my tummy.” She’s been around kids a lot, and while she’s incredibly gentle and loving, she does get excited and wiggly, so she’d do best with slightly older kiddos who won’t tip over during a full-body happiness wiggle. She’s also super adaptable—house, apartment, busy home, quieter home—as long as she’s included in daily life, she thrives.
If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be included in EVERYTHING? Baby Girl is your perfect match.

Her foster family takes her everywhere:
✨ the beach
✨ hiking trails
✨ fishing spots
✨ weekend trips
✨ local adventures
✨ anywhere they’d take a fun-loving buddy

She thrives out and about. She splashes around the beach like she’s auditioning for a mermaid movie. She “helps” fish by staring intensely at the water like she’s the captain now. She explores new trails with her ears bouncing like little wings.

And when the adventure is done?
She curls up into your lap like she’s 8 lbs instead of… definitely not 8 lbs.

Baby Girl is the perfect combination of social, silly, affectionate, and adventure-ready. Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a beach-day sidekick, a coffee shop companion, or a professional snuggle supervisor, she is SO ready to be part of your world.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
