My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin is one of three adorable male kittens that came into our care, together with their mom cat (Sweet Potato), when they were trapped in late October. Starving and frightened, they have all done well in our foster program.

Pumpkin is leader of the trio. He is always the first to greet his foster mom, and purrs as soon as she walks into the room. His brothers, Spice and Latte, are slightly more reserved, but definitely come running for feeding time. They are getting lots of snuggles and pets in their foster home and have realized that life in a home is much nicer than living under a dumpster, scrounging for food! These kittens are going to be wonderful family pets!

The boys are now 3-1/2 months old, and have been vaccinated (FVRCP 1st and 2nd plus rabies), treated for fleas and parasites (two dewormings), neutered, microchipped, and screened for FIV / FeLV (negative results).

If you would like more information about Pumpkin, Spice and Latte, or would like to set up a time to meet them in their foster home, please reach out - info@catsofsaltspring.com or 236-508-2287

Pumpkin (and his brothers) can’t wait to meet you!

Go meet their pets

All of our cats and kittens are housed in foster homes on Salt Spring Island and Vancouver Island. Once we have approved an application and completed a telephone interview with an applicant, we set a meeting in the appropriate foster home.

We also hold adoption events to feature our adoptable cats and kittens both in Victoria (at Capital Cat Clinic) and on Salt Spring Island (at Whiskers Pet Store and Foxglove Farm and Garden Centre).
