Have you ever seen a more handsome guy? Just like his Grey’s Anatomy namesake, Jackson has captivating blue eyes and a warm, charismatic personality. Jackson loves being held or just sitting beside or on his person. Jackson has now been in our care for almost three months, and has done SO WELL in our foster program! He is clearly ready to move to his FURever family now.

Jackson has been neutered, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), treated for fleas and parasites, microchipped, and tested for FIV / FeLV (negative results).

Submit Application

If you are interested in learning more about any of our cats or kittens, please submit a completed adoption application.

2.
Interview

Once we receive your application, one of our team will reach out to discuss any questions or request any clarification, as required.

3.
Meet the Pet

Once your application has been approved, we will make an appointment to meet the cat or kitten of interest in its foster home.

4.
Home Check

We always complete a home check for our adoptions. Often, this home check is done when we deliver the new cat or kitten to your home.

Go meet their pets

All of our cats and kittens are housed in foster homes on Salt Spring Island and Vancouver Island. Once we have approved an application and completed a telephone interview with an applicant, we set a meeting in the appropriate foster home.

We also hold adoption events to feature our adoptable cats and kittens both in Victoria (at Capital Cat Clinic) and on Salt Spring Island (at Whiskers Pet Store and Foxglove Farm and Garden Centre).

Cats of Salt Spring Rescue Society is dedicated to improving the well-being of cats – both domesticated and feral – here on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia.

OUR INITIATIVES
Providing care for and adoption of stray or abandoned cats,
Supporting the well-being of ‘community’ cats through our Trap Neuter Return Manage (TNRM) and Backyard Buddies / Working Cats programs; and
Providing community-based education programs relevant to Salt Spring Island cats and their owners or caretakers.
