Older kittens, Momma and Young Adult cats make some of our best therapy snuggle buddies. They tend to think of their humans as an extended part of their mothering duties and these beauties are all incredible. Gorgeous supermodels but with hearts of gold.
Let's talk about them individually:
Nugget - this handsome 4yr old is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G - sweeter than sweet and thinks he's pretty much a chonky baby! Loves to be carried and cuddled. Loves kids and other pets and EVERYONE he meets. He is FIV+ but note he can live fine with other cats (non transmissible) and will live a normal long life. No special food meds etc... He is NOT FIP or FELV positive which are the ones often confused with FIV. He is made for therapy. A lover of lovers.
Figgy Pudding - what is not to love about this SUPER handsome round faced living pillow pet?!! At only about 12m old, he is a shining star! Cuddly funny playful friendly and just darn adorable. We are obsessed with his cuteness and fun! Great for any home!
Harbor - this 7m old ball of fun cannot be any better for ANY family! He is so fun and so sweet that he wins rescue fav of the month from 2 different rescues - ours and his original GA rescue! He just cannot be any friendlier or happier and is great with everyone furry or human big or small! Just perfect bff and possible therapy cat too!
Hattie - this 4yr old gem is not just GORGEOUS, she's a lover too! Floofy soft and a fav not just of staff but of the clinic who cannot get enough of her! They see a lot of cats for medical checks, but she left a lasting and love filled impression on them too! She just loves to snuggle. It doesn't hurt that she's a super model too!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered - are fully vaccinated - and up to date on necessary vet care. Some animals that are listed are special needs might have chronic problems that the adopter would cover for future vetting, although this is rare.

Welcome to Rock N' Rescue! We are a 501c3 cat rescue (and a few dogs!) based in Westchester County NY. Our goal is not only to save the lives of kittens and cats coming from high kill shelters, but to raise awareness of many issues concerning animal welfare. We also have a therapy cat program, providing special cats deemed gentle enough to be able to relieve stress for individuals suffering from illness, PTSD and other stress/trauma in their lives. All of our cats must go to an indoor only home and are not allowed to be declawed (unless they are rescued already declawed). Adopters are encouraged to post happy tales here too!
We also are happy to do custom searches if you are looking for a particular breed/mixed breed of cat or dog!
