My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rig is a roly-poly and irresistibly cute 10 week old pup who’s ready to find a loving forever home! This chunky little monkey is a real sweetheart who traveled all the way from New Mexico with his siblings, and now he’s hoping to settle into a brand new family of his very own! We’re not sure exactly which breeds make up Rig’s adorable and unique mix (probably lots) but we do know he’s overflowing with charm and is going to make his new family very proud! Rig will thrive in a home where he gets plenty of love, playtime, gentle guidance, and continued socialization to help him grow into the best boy he can be. He is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate puppy vaccines. This lovable little boy can’t wait to meet you—come say hello to Rig today and fall in love with this sweet, smile-making pup!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
