My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet RTSS Scooby Gang, affectionately known as Xander, a stunning blue brindle gentleman born 2/28/2019. Xander is a sweet soul with a gentle spirit. He is the kind of boy who would thrive in a quiet, loving home where he can be pampered and cherished the way he deserves. Xander enjoys the company of other dogs too!

More about this rescue

Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions, Gulf Coast Chapter is a 501(c) (3) non-profit all volunteer organization that is dedicated to the placement of retired racing greyhounds into qualified, caring and loving homes since 2003. It is our mission to educate the public regarding the gentle nature and wonderful temperament of the greyhound breed.

With the closing of the Florida race tracks in 2020, the number of local greyhounds needing placement in loving homes has been significantly reduced. While we are still doing everything we can to help retired racers from other states and countries, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our mission to now work with other sighthounds and closely related sighthound breeds!
