My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Vega – Male Red Goldendoodle Puppy (≈25-28 lbs) 🐾

Say hello to Vega, the adorable red Goldendoodle puppy who has overcome so much to get here! Born 07/25/25, he’s the surviving sibling from a litter that fought for their lives. After receiving life-saving care and the support of our amazing followers, Vega is now thriving, playful, and ready for a forever family.

Vega is sweet, energetic, and loves playing with other dogs and living with cats. He must have another playful dog in his new home, as he will be separated from his brother Sirius. This fun-loving pup is going to grow into a standard-size Goldendoodle (~60+ lbs) and is already learning how to be a social, happy, confident puppy.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
