This is Clara, our gorgeous.....Doodle? We know she must have Standard Poodle in her, but although some thought she might be a Goldendoodle, we are thinking she may be a Schnoodle! We are guessing that she is about 3.5 - 4 YO. Whatever she is, she's the total package!
Poor Clara did not come from a great place. Apparently she "showed up" at someone's house and just never left. While we are happy that the family fed and housed her, she did not get groomed at all and came in very matted and basically, a hot mess! She had to be completely shaved down and although she doesn't necessarily look like a Doodle should, she is so much happier and feeling so much better!
Clara is fostered with two other dogs and kids. She is housetrained and isn't even crated overnight or when the family is not home, making her the perfect house guest! She absolutely loves having the 2 and 4-legged family members. She loves her people A LOT so she will need to go to a home with at least one other dog, and preferably, where her people would be home a lot to always love on her! She previously lived with 1 other big dog and two Chihuahua mixes.
Clara is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative, which means she is ready to find her new home! She is fostered in Sarasota and her adoption fee is $400.
If you are thinking about adding sweet Clara to your family, please complete an adoption application at https://www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt.
