My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Robert Smith — the Cuddle King Looking for His Forever People

If you’re searching for a dog who will love you with his whole heart, Robert Smith is your guy. This sweet, soulful pup lives for affection—cuddling is his love language, and he wants nothing more than to spend his days snuggled up right beside his humans.

Robert struggles with being alone, so he’s looking for a special home where someone is around most of the day and where he can have the comfort of another friendly dog companion. He blossoms when he has both human and canine company, and a confident dog friend will help him feel secure.

When he’s with the people he trusts, Robert is gentle, loyal, and endlessly loving. He’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, curl up next to you during movie nights, and remind you just how wonderful it is to be loved unconditionally.

Robert Smith is ready to give his whole heart to the right family—he just needs a home that understands his sensitivity and can offer him the companionship he craves.

If you have room on your couch and in your schedule for a clingy, cuddly, truly devoted dog, Robert Smith is waiting to melt into your arms.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.

Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.

Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.

Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
