Meet Sweetie! A 40lb Pittie mix with a big heart. Sweetie is about 8-9years old. Unfortunately Sweetie has not had the best last few years she was chained up outdoors on a short chain with little food and water. Thankfully she is doing much better now and gaining weight! Sweetie is happy and playful and loves attention from her people. She does well with other dogs but can be bossy with them at times. Approve application and set up meet and greet with pet / pets and family. Pay adoption fee or foster to adopt. Take pet home

We thoroughly check all potential adopters. We place mostly senior pets in need and want to be sure that they are going to their forever family for the reminder of their golden years

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster-based and volunteer-run rescue, with a small sanctuary space for senior dogs who are unadoptable or in need of lifelong hospice care. Whether they’re with us for a short stay or for the rest of their lives, they are family.
We specialize in saving senior dogs who are often the first to be passed over and the last to be helped. Our dogs come from:
Scary, overcrowded shelters where they’re at high risk of euthanasia
Homes where their owners have passed away or entered long-term care
Situations of neglect, abandonment, or urgent need
They may come to us broken, scared, or sick—but they leave knowing love, safety, and peace.
