My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS ***

Some dogs come into our program with instant notoriety and rise to a celebrity status quickly. Tallulah is definitely one of them. As a popular pup at Saving Grace, Tallulah would love to give back to their community by helping other Saving Grace dogs with major medical needs, our senior dogs, nursing moms, and those who need life-saving heartworm treatments. Through his/her adoption, Tallulah will ask their new family to assist them by making a donation of $500 (tax-deductible) in addition to the adoption fee ($395) to help his/her friends in need.

Tallulah is a doll! She is so very sweet and is just so happy to be near you! She is definitely learning a lot of new things in her foster home- leash walking seems to be brand new and a little scary. She is not quite crate- or potty-trained, but she is working hard at listening and following a schedule! In just a few days she's already catching on! This gal loves treats and is very happy at meal time. She loves to jump on the couch for snuggles and is perfect at loving you hard! She doesn't like when you leave the room, but is quickly gaining confidence, and with some reassurance she is just so happy to be adored. She has no issue with dogs of any size or cats, and absolutely adores people- she will snuggle up to anyone! She would do best in a home with a family who is ready to help her acclimate to a routine and help her catch up on all the things she's missed out on. She is absolutely a dream come true who so deserves patience, love, and a family of her own.

Additional adoption info

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please complete an Adoption Application at our website: savinggracenc.org

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.

More about this rescue

Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.

We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
