My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Foster Writes:
Caramelo is a sweet girl who would love a quiet home where she is the queen. She is an expert biscuit maker and uses her scratching post like a champ. She loves pets and leans into your hand and purrs like a motor expressing how happy she is.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Caramelo is laying on her side at the front of the kennel, body and eyes soft. As The kennel door is opened, she head bunts the assessor's hands, leaning into all petting. She is able to be easily picked up and purrs as she is held, leaning against the assessor's body and remaining relaxed. When placed back down she continues to be receptive to attention, soliciting petting by leaning her body against and head bunting the assessor's hands.

Caramelo interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.

A volunteer writes: Caramelo is as sweet as caramel candy. She is a very full bodied girl who would love to join your family for Thanksgiving and maybe get a little turkey for treats. She loves turkey and gravy kitty treats and is practicing for the holidays and getting into the spirit. Whenever I walked by she waited at the front of her kennel hoping I would visit... naturally I had to. She graciously accepted pets, leaning her had into my hand. I really enjoyed my interaction with her and found her to be extremely sweet.
