He enjoys hanging around humans on his own terms and will happily be nearby while you work in the barn or outbuilding, but he shies away from hands. Low-maintenance and food-motivated, Wilson thrives with regular meals, safe shelter, and the freedom to do things his own way. He especially loves his cat friends! He’s looking for a patient caregiver who can appreciate his quirky personality and moves at his pace while providing a secure, cozy home.

Our adoption contract requires you to take care of the pet and agree to return to our shelter if the pet doesn't fit your situation.

Pay Fee

Our standard adoption rates are $150 for puppies (6 mos and under) $90 for dogs and $70 for cats.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Colleton County Animal Shelter offers pets for adoption to the public. You don't have to be a Colleton resident to adopt from our shelter. Our adoption process is welcoming and simple; meet our pets, work with our team to find the best match for your lifestyle, complete our adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, take home your new best friend!
