My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amelia is a mixed breed puppy with an estimated DOB of 7/11/2025 and currently weighs about 20 pounds. She’s a very sweet, gentle girl who has surprised her foster with how calm and easygoing she is for a puppy. Amelia is happy to hang out nearby, quietly keeping you company while you go about your day, and she loves being held and cuddled. She has a playful side too and enjoys toys, chewing, and having a few bursts of fun each day, whether that’s a romp in the living room or some snowy zoomies.

Amelia gets along beautifully with other dogs of all sizes and would enjoy having a canine friend in her new home, though she’d likely do well in just about any environment. She’s also good with cats, strangers, men, women, and children. Like many puppies, she can be a little mouthy during play, so we think kids over 6 would be ideal, but she’s already learning that kisses are better than nibbles. Amelia tolerates the crate but doesn’t love it and currently sleeps in her foster’s bedroom, just not on the bed.

Overall, she’s a happy, friendly, affectionate puppy who is equal parts chill companion and playful baby, ready to grow up alongside a family of her own. Her minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
