Stanley is a 6 year old English Bulldog weighing about 58 lbs, and he’s every bit the lovable, goofy “meatball” you’d expect. This mellow boy is all about the simple joys in life: long naps, sunshine, and bananas (his absolute favorite treat!).
Stanley is the ultimate companion dog you need. He loves car rides, outings, and soaking up attention from anyone he meets. At home, he’s your perfect couch potato, always ready to cuddle, watch a movie, read a book, or simply hang out nearby. At night, he’s content sleeping on a bed next to yours or can be crated.
A true indoor companion, Stanley enjoys relaxing around the house but never turns down a chance to stretch out in a sunny spot and soak up some warmth. His easygoing personality makes him the perfect match for someone looking for a calm, loyal, and loving friend.
With Stanley, every day feels a little softer, a little sweeter, and a lot more snuggly. He’s ready to bring his sunshine-loving, treat-snacking charm to a forever home.
In true bulldog fashion that we all know and love, Stanley can be a little pushy and persistent when he wants his way, but it’s all part of his charm. He’s a big meatball and allll bulldog. While he’s polite when out and about, Stanley would thrive as the only pet when in the home so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. Cats are also not his cup of tea!
Stanley has done well with kids, though very young children might find his classic bulldog clumsiness a little overwhelming. He’s also a healthy boy but, like many in his breed, will need regular wrinkle cleaning and daily eye drops for common bulldog dry eye.
If you’re looking for a snuggly, devoted, and downright delightful bulldog, Stanley is ready to waddle his way into your heart.

More about this rescue
Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit organization; obtained our 501(c)3 in 2011 - ID #27-0810495
Located in Anza, CA
Kathy Haley had originally started as a rescue for abused and neglected large animals such as donkeys, llamas, alpacas, pigs, and more. At the time, she was also a volunteer at a dog rescue. After learning about the importance of rescue work, Kathy saw an opportunity to help by employing her own ideas about animal welfare, rescue and care taking the "whole animal," mind, body and spirit into consideration. A few years later, she met Lisa Ashe. Kathy and Lisa had so many ideas, dreams, and goals in common. They instantly clicked and that was when Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary, a non-profit organization, was born in 2011 and have been going strong since.
At Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary, we are dedicated to taking in abused, neglected, and euthanasia listed animals that deserve a second chance and need us the most.
All of our animals are:
Spayed/Neutered
Current on all vaccines
Rabies Vaccinated
Dewormed
Micro-chipped (lifetime registered & paid)
Received all proper medical care when needed (surgeries, dentals, medications, grooming, etc)
While many of our animals are sanctuary or "permanent residents", we do have lots of adoptable pets who are patiently waiting for their forever homes.
We are unique in the fact that our dogs do not live in kennels; instead they live with us in our home on about 5 acres of property located in Anza, CA or they are in foster homes in and around the Temecula, CA area. They have full access to our home and property and sleep inside with us at night.
This ensures that our pets are well adjusted and perfectly suited to become a part of your family.
Because the sanctuary is also our home, we do not have regular public visiting hours but we do have many visitors.
We just have to arrange it to fit the schedule of our animals, ourselves, and you.
