Meryl Streep is a 5.5-month-old, 35 lb, spayed female Pitbull mix (DOB 5/23/25), expected to be a medium-to-large adult once fully grown. With her adorable floppy ears and narrow snout, she has a uniquely charming look that makes her stand out from the rest of her litter. She is being fostered in the same Houston home where she was born and can transport to the Petfinder-listed city once an adopter has completed our screening process, virtual home visit, and reference checks.
Sweet, sensitive, and full of quiet charm — Meryl Streep is a gentle girl who may be nervous at first, but she warms up beautifully with patience and soft reassurance. Once she feels safe, she becomes affectionate, playful, and eager to be near her people. She enjoys spending time with her siblings, loves gentle affection, and has a calm, tender personality that makes her incredibly lovable.
Meryl hasn’t been around children yet, but we expect she will do well with kids who understand how to respect a dog’s boundaries.
We have no history with cats.
Meryl is doing great for her age — she’s been introduced to a crate, is progressing well with potty training, and is learning the rhythms of home life.
