Update!

Hi! I’m Lobster. I am being the best boy since I’ve been with my fosters but it takes some time for me to trust and feel safe. First things first I need time to warm up. I need to have a crate for feeling safe and to adjust for a week or two. I know, it’s a bit of an ask but once I do feel safe I am the best snuggler you’ll meet. Keep a leash on me in the beginning weeks going outside and in the home to help give me direction in my new place. I will be shy and look a little nervous but once I trust you I am a waggy happy dog. I have shown my foster that I have qualities that would work for almost any family!

✅Crate is my spot. I am quiet and keep it clean. I like a cozy blanket at night to keep me warm.
✅I walk in a good heel and am attentive to you during a walk. I do need redirection if a squirrel is taunting me.
✅I am low energy. Good with cuddling on the weekends and know that my future family might be at work all day so I will be good in the crate.
✅I have had excellent potty manners in my foster home.
✅I am good with dogs. I have been good with my foster dog siblings. I play to their energy level. Give me some time to adjust before introducing me to your dogs.
✅I don’t mind cats.
✅I love laying beside you or on you.
✅I am pretty quiet. I haven’t barked or whined much at all in my foster home.
✅I have accomplished sit!
✅If I’m tethered I will stay in place.
✅I ride good in the car. I curl up and wait for the destination. I should be tethered as I can get excited for my destination want to jump out.

My foster says:
His sweet little face just makes you melt. He is so sweet and loves belly rubs and snuggles and being wrapped in a blanket. He’s had a rough go. ODHS helped a local shelter. He came to ODHS emaciated but has gained just the right amount of weight. A volunteer dog trainer,
Ruff Patriots, has offered a free transition lesson. He will need patience and some time to adapt and should be treated as a flight risk.

Put in an application and come meet me soon.

You can come adopt me or even join our foster program to help the humans learn all the awesome things about new dogs like me! Learn more on our website!
