My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nico is an incredible dog with a heart as big as his personality. He hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t get along with, making him a fantastic addition to a home with other furry friends—or he can happily be your one and only companion.

Nico enjoys car rides, walks, and spending time with his humans, though he could use some guidance with basic training. He’s eager to learn and impress, and he’s already shown his dedication: when given a treat, he’ll sit patiently until every last one is rewarded—no shortcuts for this loyal boy!

With a little consistency and positive reinforcement, Nico will thrive as a loving, well-mannered, and endlessly devoted companion in any home.

More about this shelter

Farm and Feline is a nonprofit animal sanctuary dedicated to saving the lives of cats in Eastern North Carolina. While our primary focus is helping cats, we also welcome and care for other animals in need. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets by rescuing, rehabilitating and adoption while promoting awareness about the importance of responsible pet care.

We believe every animal deserves a safe, loving, and comfortable place to call home. With our 40-acre farm, we are committed to providing a lasting impact on the lives of the animals we encounter.
