My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet Husky mix is currently in California and patiently waiting for transport to our rescue. He is a gentle, timid soul who hasn’t had the easiest start in life, but his kind heart shines through. He does well with other dogs and cats. He will need a patient, understanding adopter who can give him the time and space he needs to feel safe and learn to trust. With consistency, kindness, and love, he has the potential to blossom into a loyal and grateful companion—he just needs someone willing to give him that chance.

More about this shelter

Farm and Feline is a nonprofit animal sanctuary dedicated to saving the lives of cats in Eastern North Carolina. While our primary focus is helping cats, we also welcome and care for other animals in need. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets by rescuing, rehabilitating and adoption while promoting awareness about the importance of responsible pet care.

We believe every animal deserves a safe, loving, and comfortable place to call home. With our 40-acre farm, we are committed to providing a lasting impact on the lives of the animals we encounter.
