My name is Sylvester (Sly)!

Sylvester, aka Sly, came to us as an owner surrender when his owner lost her home. He is approximately 9 months old and is said to be a mix of German shepherd, greyhound, and St. Bernard. He does not have the extreme size of a St. Bernard, however, and strongly resembles a GSD. He will be vet checked and neutered soon and his adoption fee is $150.

Sly can be a little shy when he first meets new people but quickly blossoms into a fun loving pup. He is a big boy and could have some growing left to do. He has had a bit of basic training and would be receptive to more. He will require some good exercise. We do think he would do okay with other dogs and older kids. We have no way of knowing about cats. 

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I090, right off of 218 South. 

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
