Luka came in with her whole litter of siblings during some TNR work and the kittens were too small for their spay/neuter surgery. The whole crew is sweet and gentle with lots of energy and kitten antics! Luka, sporting her tuxedo coat and her other black and white sister Lana, are super soft and easy going. They are content playing with toys on their own or lounging around looking adorable of course! They get along splendidly with other cats and would be an easy addition to a home with other friendly cats as they don't seem to be bothered by a thing. Luka was born middle of May 2025 and she would think it totally cool to go home with a sibling if that was an option because two is much better than just one! She is spayed, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants.

Additional adoption info

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
