My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mars 🚀

Mars is a young pup bursting with energy, curiosity, and friendliness. This happy explorer is always on the move, ready to check out new sights, chase toys, and turn every day into an adventure. If there’s something to see or do, Mars wants to be right in the middle of it.

He’s friendly with everything and everyone, making him a fantastic fit for an active family or a home with kids who can keep up with his playful spirit. Mars thrives on interaction, playtime, and having fun with his people — the more engagement, the better!

With plenty of activity and lots of love, Mars will grow into an incredible family dog. If you’re looking for a joyful, energetic pup to keep life exciting, Mars is ready to blast off into your heart. 🐾❤️

Mars is available through our Foster to Adopt program to LOCAL (KC area only) adopters. To meet him, submit an application today at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
