Ruger is a handsome 4-year-old German Shepherd weighing approximately 80lbs who is looking for a new forever home after being surrendered when his previous family was no longer able to care for him. Ruger is a happy, social boy who would love a person or family ready to include him in their daily adventures. He enjoys spending time with his people and would make a wonderful companion for an active household. He has previously lived in a home with children, cats, and other dogs. A meet and greet is encouraged if you have children or another dog in the home to ensure everyone is a good fit. Ruger's adoption fee is $125. Ruger is neutered, microchipped, current on his core annual boosters, and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
