Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frodo is a male boxer mix, approximately 2 years old. Frodo is living with his family in TorC, NM, but he isn't fitting in with the family's other 6 year old male dog. He gets along well with female dogs. All information about Frodo has been supplied by his owner, Yvonne. Please contact his current owner, Yvonne, at 503-267-2853. Frodo is neutered and UTD on vaccines. His current family isn't sure if he gets along with cats or children as he's never been exposed to them. Frodo listens with a desire to please, loves to play and cuddle, and great in the car. He loves walks and is most comfortable in a harness, which prevents him from pulling. He needs a secure yard since he will try to escape. Frodo knows sit and stay.

Additional adoption info

We ask for home photos from adopters coming from a distance (home visit). We adopt locally and to out of staters. We aren't currently part of a transport system so applicants need to come to Desert Haven Animal Rescue (Truth or Consequences, NM) to meet their pet. We can schedule meetings flexibly, any day of the week, including weekends.

Desert Haven Animal rescue is a No-Kill animal rescue located in Sierra County NM. We operate under Sierra County Humane Society and are a 501 (c)(3). We have a 5 acre property that houses our animals and an RV park where work campers can live for free in exchange for caring for our animals.
