My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jasper!

Jasper is a 1 yr. old Jack Russell Terrier mix with a heart of gold and energy to spare. He weighs 27 lbs., has a slightly long body and short legs - a little athlete who can jump straight up from the floor with ease.

Jasper is incredibly sweet, kind, and affectionate. He has a gentle nature and gets along beautifully with small dogs. He currently lives with two tiny chihuahuas and is respectful, playful, and loving with them. He truly enjoys being part of a pack and has excellent dog manners.

This happy boy has tons of energy and loves to run, play, and explore. He would thrive in a home with space to stretch his legs and burn off his terrier enthusiasm. Jasper loves chewing on his bones, playing, and staying active - he’s the kind of dog who will happily join you for adventures and then curl up content afterward.

Jasper is crate-trained and does very well being crated for up to eight hours a day, making him a great fit for a working household. He is adaptable, eager to please, and ready to learn.

Most of all, Jasper is loving. He is loyal, sweet-natured, and full of joy. He’s looking for a forever home with someone who will appreciate his playful spirit, give him room to run, and welcome him as a true family member.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, energetic companion who has a whole lot of love to give, Jasper could be the perfect addition to your home.🐾💙🐾

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

More about this rescue

United Animal Friends (UAF) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group founded in 2003. Our mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets. Our Spay/Neuter Certificate Program, Community Pet Food Bank and Emergency Medical Program help hundreds of people and pets each year.
