Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maya is drop-dead gorgeous and knows it — the camera absolutely loves her, and honestly, she loves it right back. ??? She walks beautifully on leash, sticks close to her people, and makes every stroll look like a photoshoot.
Maya is fueled by hotdogs and is the treat-catching extraordinaire (Olympic level, gold medal pending. Unlike some dogs, she understands mouths, eyes, and timing — a true professional.
She adores humans and has no concept of personal space. Maya will happily sit in your lap (yes, your lap) and cuddle like it’s her full-time job. If you’re looking for a stunning, snuggly, hotdog-motivated best friend, Maya is ready to steal your heart — and your snacks.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We`ll see you soon at either location!
