Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kelvin Gemstone! At 9 lbs he is a little man with a big personality and an even bigger overbite. Kelvin is 7 years old, but you would never know it the way he can zoom around. He loves to lay with his people and fur siblings on the couch when he isn’t being a little jumping bean. He came to us with his two siblings after their owner passed away and has gained so much confidence since his first day in his foster home, and will only gain more in his forever home. Kelvin is potty trained on a good schedule, crate trained, and does great on walks and car rides, making him the perfect travel companion. He gets along with other dogs and played in the small dog play group at the shelter previous to foster life. He is by far the most outgoing of the group and was the first to befriend the two resident dogs in the household. He has thrived on staycations without his siblings, so we know that he will succeed in a home without his siblings but would prefer that he have another small dog in the home to keep him company and help keep the confidence he’s built up.
As of early December, Kelvin is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is handling treatment well. He will need to continue to refrain from heavy exercise in the next couple of weeks - which he doesn’t seem to mind based on his relaxed demeanor!
