Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Judy Gemstone! At 18 lbs, this little lady is the perfect combination of sassy and sweet. She is 6 years old, and while she enjoys playing with the other dogs in her foster home, she spends most of her time laying on the couch, preferably with her people and fur siblings. She came to us with her two brothers after their owner passed away. Judy takes a little extra time to gain trust, but once she does she will love you unconditionally. Judy is potty trained on a good schedule, crate trained, and does great on walks and car rides. She is the perfect passenger princess and is a great size to bring on errands or roadtrips. She also gets along with other dogs and played in the small dog play group at the shelter previous to foster life. While slow to warm up during her staycations away from her siblings, she really just loves companionship and will be successful in a home with humans that love her and a dog sibling to help continue building her confidence.
As of early December, Judy is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is handling treatment well. She will need to continue to refrain from heavy exercise in the next couple of weeks - which she doesn’t seem to mind based on her relaxed demeanor!
