Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My foster mom calls me Tater, Tater Tot, Little Menace, Bad Baby, and Spudnik Taterson the Third.
When I was just a baby, someone left me on a strangers porch to fend for myself.. I didn’t even have teeth yet! My foster mommy stepped in and helped me grow big, strong, and CRAZY!
My FAVORITE thing to do is PLAY! I could do it alllllll day long if my mom didn’t make me stop to take naps. Tug o’ War is my FAVORITE game in the whole wild world!! Sometimes I like to fetch.. but only if I can tug it when i bring it back!
Mom says I’m really smart! I already know sit, I’ve almost mastered down, and I know my name (though I like to ignore it sometimes).
The word no is funny. I don’t like to listen to it. But when mom makes that big scary “buzzer” sound, it makes me stop in my tracks!
Food is cool, but I’d rather play! Sometimes my foster mom has to make meal time a game with training, and I think it’s so fun! And I like to eat out of her hand like when I was a baby. If you put me in my kennel with a bowl of food, I’ll eat it, but I’ll also try to eat the bowl when I’m done!!
Speaking of my kennel - I hate it. It’s so boring and restrictive. But MOM says it’s important I know how to “turn my brain off” and occupy myself. Whatever that means! I usually throw a puppy tantrum for about 10 minutes, and then I’ll chew on my bone or take a nap.
Potty training is kinda cool, mom gets really excited when I do it right, which gets me really excited too! Often when I’m playing, I’ll forget I’m supposed to do it outside. I’m not good at telling mom I have to go out yet, but I’ll get better as I get older!
My foster mom thinks I’m gonna be a big boy, I was 3# at 3 weeks old, and I’m already over 12#!
I need a really active family because I have lots of energy, and I would love a big doggy brother/sister to play with even more! My mom has a cat.. I try to chase her sometimes, and then she smacks me, and I don’t like that so much.
Will you take me home for Christmas?!

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
