Lucky was adopted from us in 2021 but sadly found his way back to the shelter after his owner passed away. He’s understandably confused, and we would love for him to spend as little time here as possible.
We are still getting to know Lucky, and he is still getting to know us. He gets excited when he sees us, sometimes jumping up and rubbing against our leg, but other times he is grumpy and confused, as if he isn't quite sure why he is around us all of the time. He definitely needs more time to decompress and adjust to life without his family. Hopefully his second chance at happiness is out there.
So far, Lucky has been very well-behaved and easy-going. Around five years old and 65 lbs, Lucky is neutered and house-trained. He previously lived with an older female dog he adored, so he may be dog-friendly as well.
Come meet this sweet boy and give him a soft place to land.
