AVAILABLE BY APPROVED APPLICATION APPOINTMENT ONLY!!
Cooper is a Poodle mix who was surrendered to us after his previous owner was no longer able to keep him. According to his previous owner, this handsome gentleman gets along well with everyone including other dogs, children, and even cats! He is well behaved during bath times and never once had an accident in the house while living in his previous home. This guy also loves to learn, as he knows commands such as come, sit, and stay! His date of birth is 8/1/2019 and he currently weighs about 21lbs. Come meet Cooper today to see if he's the addition you've been looking for!
Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

More about this shelter
The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
The Humane Society of Pulaski County provides access to low-cost, healthy, inoculated, sterilized animals to people seeking to adopt animals as pets only. Adopters are screened to see if they can provide the basics of care for the animals, proper housing, and continued veterinary maintenance; and have no history of animal abuse or irresponsible ownership.
The Humane Society is a private no-kill shelter, supported solely by donations, fund-raisers, bequests and grants. We receive no city, county or state funding, nor are we affiliated with any other organization. We have been rescuing animals since 1946, and have been in our present building since 2000.
