My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cali Biscuit is absolutely the most perfect cat you ever met and is ready to make her way into your hearts!

Cali is a squishy mellow – she is cuddly, and squeezable, and plump, and cute, and oh so loving! She is a perfect companion. She loves sunny spots and blankets to sleep on. She loves any attention she gets, but she is not imposing. She loves being brushed with a love glove. She is chill and tolerant and loves everyone – kids, adults, cats (not sure about dogs). She is just perfect!

Cali went through a lot lately, but she never stopped being the most loving and gentle cat! She was abandoned in a carrier with her friend Eveline at the steps of our location one night. She is a very social lady and would be fine with another feline friend, but also would not mind being the only source of your feline affection.

She is a bit chubby, so she will not jump on tables and will not knockdown your favorite vase. Although chubbiness suits her, she could lose a bit of weight to live a healthier life. Cali is a true lady – she has perfect table and litterbox manners!

During her check-up, a bump was spotted on her belly and removed. Unfortunately, it turned out to be grade 2 mammary cancer. The good news– the tumor was removed completely, and has not spread! The bad news– these types of masses typically return. Cali is a part of our Hospice Program and has a 1-2 year prognosis. Thankfully, Cali doesn't know any of this – she has been sweet and loving the whole time: during her vet intake exams, post surgery, and recovery at the foster’s home. She also had dental work and now has a perfect smile!

Cali is looking for a special family who can diligently monitor and provide care for their quality of life and overall comfort for whatever time they have left. She is ready to be spoiled with all the love you have to offer!
